A Message from the Office of the President

Welcome to Union University of California!

Union University of California is on a journey following God’s call and filled with God’s grace. We believe deeply in offering theological education and professional leadership training of a high quality, and offering it online so that it is available at reasonable cost whatever the student’s current circumstance or geographical location.

We currently offer online theological degree programs in English and Vietnamese. Our vision includes adding degree programs in other languages so that good theological education and leadership development is available to support and educate an expanding group of students who are called to serve their churches and homelands with the transforming love of Jesus for both individuals and societies.

In following this vision, the faculty and staff of Union University of California seek to live the scripture that says: “The life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God… (Galatians 2:20-21).” We know that we cannot accomplish the vision God has given us without His help, and we know that he will give his grace and help if we act in faith. So we move out in faith, seeking to never nullify the grace that God offers in our lives and calling.

We urge our students to do the same. If God has called you to prepare for leadership in the church or any organization in the society, or if you are already leading and God is calling you to become a more educated and equipped leader, then move forward in faith, receive the grace that God is offering, and through Union University gain the higher education that will enable you to better serve God, His Church and the society.

We invite you to join with us on this journey of learning, love and service. Together, as students and faculty, may we fulfill God’s calling to every person to live by faith in the Son of God who loved us and gave himself for us.

Welcome to Union University of California.
